Rod Wave ‘SoulFly’ Debuts At No. 1 On The Billboard Charts

Lonely at the top.

Rod Wave has just scored his first No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 charts with his latest album, SoulFly.

In its first week, the album moved 130,000 equivalent album units with 4,000 of the sum in traditional album sales. It has become the largest streaming week of 2021 for an R&B/Rap album with 126,000 SEA units from its 189.2 million on-demand streams of the album’s songs.

At 19 tracks, SoulFly includes the standouts “Street Runner” and “Tombstone“, and marks the rapper’s third charting album, with all three having reached the top 10. His previous, Pray 4 Love, debuted at No. 2 last April, while his debut Ghetto Gospel hit No. 10 in 2019. Congrats!
