One day in L.A.

PJ Morton orchestrates BJ The Chicago Kid, Kenyon Dixon and guitarist Charlie Bereal for a cover of a Sam Cooke classic.

Drawing inspiration from the Oscar-nominated film One Night In Miami…, the quartet dappers up and checks in a Los Angeles motel room for their their modern take of Sam Cooke’s 1962 hit “Bring It On Home To Me“.

Sam Cooke’s version, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 100, is originally his remake of Charles Brown’s 1959 single “I Want to Go Home“.
